I spend any free time doing research for a financial services company based in Greenwich CT USA, which gets me out and about in the city talking to FD's and fund managers etc. Telling an accountant he/she is "interesting to meet" makes their day!
Just been appointed as a member of the board of visitors at the local nick - now that is interesting!
